食品企业注册（反生物恐怖法案）

根据美国国会2003年通过的反生物恐怖法案(The Bioterrorism Act)，要求所有从事制造、加工、包装或储存将在美国消费的食品或饮料的美国和非美国企业都必须向美国食品药品管理局(FDA)注册。

美国代理人US　Agent

非美国的生产企业必须指定美国法规代理与FDA联络。代理要求地址或经营场所在美国，并可以随时与FDA沟通企业的相关事宜，处理突发状况或紧急事件。这意味着代理需要一周7天，一天24小时随时待命。

预先申报

如果您寄送食品或者饮料至美国，务必要进行预先申报以免遭遇扣留，即使您寄送给收货方（例如：买家，展会或朋友等）的食品或饮料的数量很少或仅是样品。 此外，通过快递（Fedex，DHL,UPS等）方式寄送食品或饮料同样也需要进行预先申报。

食品标签审核

FDA监管食品标签，要求其遵循《联邦食品药品和化妆品法案》及其修正案。食品标签的要求，包含需要准备的食物,如面包、谷类、罐头和冷冻食品,零食,甜点,饮料等。产品为原材料（水果和蔬菜）和鱼的营养标签是自愿符合其要求的。

低酸酸化类食品注册FCE及产品申报SID

美国在70年代初，由于对商业生产并用密封容器包装的低酸性的食品热加工不充分，以及对商业生产的酸化食品酸化处理不适当，因而引发了对生命具有威胁的肉毒杆菌中毒．对那些在美国销售的酸化食品和低酸性罐装食品的商业生产商，联邦法规要求每一个企业要在FDA进行注册；并对该企业的每种产品，产品类型，容器尺寸和类型，以及加工方法等，在FDA进行加工计划的登记备案。

食品接触材料

食品接触材料即为“任何组成用来生产、包装、装箱、运输或放置食品的材料的物质，同时此物质对食品没有任何技术作用”。很多食品接触材料的厂商被要求满足FDA的要求。

食品安全现代化法案

美国食品和药品管理局（FDA）将增加对所有食品企业设施的常规检查次数，以满足于 2011年 1 月 4 日经总统签署生效的 FDA《食品安全现代化法》（FSMA）内的新增规定。FSMA旨在将工作重点由应对污染转移为预防污染，进而确保美国食品供应的安全。

自由销售证明

自由销售证明是由FDA签发的一份证书，列明该产品在FDA的监管或者营销现状。申请方是在FDA注册的美国企业。

Food Facility Registration (FFR)

The U.S. Bioterrorism Act requires any facility that manufactures, processes, packs, or holds food or beverages that may be consumed by humans or animals in the U.S. to be registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The "U.S. Agent" required by the U.S. Bioterrorism Act is solely for FDA communications and is required to serve as a communications link with FDA in the event of any FDA issue or a bioterrorism incident.

In order to send Food or Beverages to the USA (even small quantities or samples), Prior Notice is required by Law.

Food Dietary Supplements/ Product Label Review

Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C) and the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act (FPLA) authorize FDA to regulate cosmetics labeling. The regulations are intended to inform the customers of the product's intended use, warning, ingredients, net quantity of contents, and information of manufacturer, packer or distributor. They also protect customers from hazards, and prohibit against false or misleading information.

Acidified and Low-Acid Canned Foods (LACF)

U.S. FDA Requires companies which produce certain shelf-stable, aseptically -sealed canned or acidified foods to obtain a Food Canning Establishment(FCE) before selling products in the U.S. In addition, these processors must file documentation for each process used in the manufacture of foods subject to these requirements, with a Submission Identifier number (SID).

Food Contact Substance

A food-contact substance is defined as "any substance intended for use as a component of materials used in manufacturing, packing, packaging, transporting, or holding food if such use is not intended to have a technical effect in such food."

Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)

The FDA Food Safety Modernization Act was enacted by the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Obama on January 4, 2011. The law creates the most significant changes to the U.S. food production and distribution system in more than seventy years.
